“I lied to myself the first time I wrote. I cheated by typing and saying out loud, to myself, as a needed confirmation: ‘it’s done’. But seems like nothing is ever done when the night comes. The moon, as it shines behind the curtain of clouds, has quite an aura; I hear the footsteps coming closer, coming faster. I run away. No one tried to rescue me when the night came.

I know what they think, I know how they feel, I feel their desire, I desire their passion. Passionately, her kiss hit me in the cheeks, made me blush purple. Her hands touched my foreskin; I understand she wants me to exist the same way I want her to do. Nobody tried to rescue them as the night went by; nobody lives by night. Only the persuasive noise of insects, the aphasic motion of bodies, the ineffable sound of isolation and the mantra of self-deception. It’s done.”
